ICF is seeking an Environmental Planner to support NEPA compliance for energy, transportation, and land-use projects. The role is remote with a preference for Florida or the Eastern United States and the option to work from a Tallahassee, FL office.

You will develop analyses for EAs/EISs, support client meetings, and help with permitting and compliance tasks, collaborating with clients and senior staff to deliver high-quality products on tight timelines.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in natural or physical science, urban planning, public policy, economics, environmental management or related subjects.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Mansioni

• Develop written materials and analyses for EAs or EISs or categorical exclusions.
• Support meetings with clients or other stakeholders (preparing agendas and meeting summaries).
• Support federal, state, and local permitting and compliance for traditional and renewable energy, transmission, land use planning, and other projects in compliance with NEPA and other regulations.
• Review NEPA documents prepared by the applicant’s contractor.
• Review environmental components of applications and support the Project Management team.
