Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced EHS Consultant to support environmental compliance, permitting, and related services for industrial and commercial clients. The role involves remote work with 25–50% travel to client sites, handling stormwater, wastewater, air permitting, and regulatory reporting, and delivering client-ready technical reports.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in environmental consulting, a relevant degree, and professional licensure or progress toward one.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of environmental compliance requirements across air, water, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste, chemical reporting, and related management

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements to client operations
• Prepare environmental permit applications, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and assessments to identify regulatory obligations and concrete corrective actions
• Manage projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
• Prepare clear, client-ready technical reports and deliverables
• Communicate with clients, regulators, and project team members as appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues across environmental disciplines
• Support client relationships and contribute to repeat business
• Expand capabilities in safety compliance and EHS auditing through experience and training
