Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to support industrial and commercial clients with environmental compliance, permitting, and related consulting services. The role involves working with regulated facilities, managing multiple assignments from fieldwork through technical reporting, including stormwater, wastewater, and air permitting tasks.

The candidate will bring 3–8 years of environmental consulting experience, strong writing and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, geological, or related engineering; environmental science.
• Three to eight years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• Experience with preparing environmental permits, plans, reports, or compliance deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements to client operations.
• Prepare and support environmental permit applications, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and environmental compliance assessments to identify regulatory obligations, compliance gaps, and practical corrective actions.
• Manage assigned projects and tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Communicate directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members as appropriate.
