Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant who will support industrial and commercial clients with environmental compliance, permitting, and related consulting services. The role requires client-facing experience and the ability to manage multiple assignments from fieldwork through technical reporting.

The position emphasizes stormwater and wastewater, hazardous and solid waste, chemical reporting, and air permitting, with travel up to 50% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and client service skills.
• Desired ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements.
• Experience preparing environmental permits, plans, reports, or compliance deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Interpret and apply environmental requirements to client operations.
• Prepare and support environmental permit applications, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and assessments to identify regulatory obligations and gaps.
• Manage assigned projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, and project team members.
