Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to support industrial and commercial clients with environmental compliance, permitting, and related services. The role emphasizes client-facing work, field projects, and technical reporting, with travel up to 50% to client sites.

You will work on stormwater, wastewater, air permitting, hazardous waste, and other regulatory challenges, building practical compliance solutions while expanding expertise in EHS auditing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, geological, or related engineering or science field.
• Experience in environmental consulting and working with regulated facilities.
• Strong writing and communication skills; client-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for clients.
• Apply federal, state, and local requirements to client operations.
• Prepare permit applications, plans, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, reviews, and assessments to identify obligations and gaps.
• Manage projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Produce clear, client-ready technical reports and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, and team members.
