Job summary

BSI is seeking an experienced EHS Consultant focused on environmental services to support industrial and commercial clients with compliance, permitting, and related consulting. Candidates should have direct client experience and the ability to manage multiple assignments from fieldwork through technical reporting.

Primary work includes stormwater, wastewater, spill prevention planning, hazardous waste, chemical reporting, and air permitting. Travel up to 50% to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, geological, or related engineering; environmental science; geology; chemistry; or another related technical discipline.
• Three to eight years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• Professional certification or licensure (PE, PG, CHMM, CPEA, CSP) or progress toward credential.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements to client operations.
• Prepare environmental permits, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and assessments to identify obligations and gaps.
• Manage projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Prepare client-ready technical reports and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
