Job summary

NetApp is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to serve as the trusted technical advisor across a diverse enterprise territory, partnering with two Enterprise Client Executives to develop account strategy, uncover opportunities, and drive successful customer engagements.

Success requires balancing technical breadth with commercial awareness while supporting a broad portfolio of enterprise customers, identifying new workloads, and delivering demonstrations, workshops, and proofs-of-concept

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related enterprise tech roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex sales cycles.
• Strong storage or storage-adjacent infrastructure knowledge.
• Broad technical knowledge across enterprise infrastructure including storage, virtualization, backup, DR, hybrid cloud.
• Experience designing and positioning technical solutions aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with two Enterprise Client Executives to develop territory strategy, qualify opportunities, and drive customer engagements.
• Lead consultative discovery sessions to uncover business initiatives and opportunities to modernize environments.
• Design and position solutions across the NetApp portfolio aligned to customer outcomes.
• Support a broad mix of enterprise customers, balancing established accounts with new opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise architects, technical decision-makers, and executives.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, proofs-of-concept, and technical presentations throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint account strategies and accelerate customer success.
