Job summary

dbt Labs is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt for our largest enterprise customers. You will own the customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to product adoption and expansion.

You will work with sales, engineering, and partners to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds and to design enterprise-grade data pipelines, leveraging Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks to meet complex data needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI
• Strong technical background with SQL, ETL, and data modeling
• Solid understanding of modern data warehousing architectures
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt Cloud for large customers
• Collaborate with sales to communicate technical value of dbt products
• Lead proof-of-concept implementations and trials of dbt Cloud
• Assist engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprises
• Own the customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to adoption and expansion
• Coordinate with Product to maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
• Build relationships with Partners (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks) for client adoption
