Job summary

dbt Labs is seeking a Solutions Architect in the United States to lead evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt for our largest enterprise customers. You will design and deploy dbt Cloud, collaborating with sales to communicate product value and guiding customers through proofs-of-concept and trials.

You will own the full lifecycle from pre-sale to expansion, partner with product on the enterprise roadmap, and build strong ties with partners like Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI.
• Solid technical background with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
• Understanding of modern data warehousing architectures.
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt Cloud.
• Explain the technical value of dbt Labs products to customers.
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept implementations and trials of dbt Cloud.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients.
• Own the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to product adoption and expansion.
• Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
• Build relationships with Partners like Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks for client adoption.
