The role requires 10+ years in data engineering/architecture, strong Snowflake/dbt expertise, and collaboration with client engineering teams to ensure scalable, governable platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
• Expert-level Snowflake experience
• Proficient with dbt and modern ELT pipelines
• Strong SQL modeling and performance optimization
• Experience with Apache Airflow and AWS

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture assessment and documentation of the current data platform (Snowflake, Airflow, AWS)
• Design the future-state data platform architecture following modern ELT and dbt best practices
• Define standards for: data modeling, pipeline architecture, transformation frameworks, governance and data quality
• Lead the migration of transformation logic into dbt models
• Collaborate with client’s engineering teams and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure governance and scalability
