Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Scheduler to drive scheduling for large multi-site, multi-region initiatives within the SES team. You will manage high-volume projects, align milestones with client needs, and communicate with senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes developing realistic schedules, monitoring progress, and escalating risks to keep projects on time and within scope. A PMI/PM certification and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing high-volume, fast-paced projects with shifting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling practices, and milestone tracking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present to and collaborate with high-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in dynamic environments.
• Ability to identify risks, assess impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to analyze processes and recommend efficiency enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of projects with tight and frequently shifting timelines, ensuring schedules are continuously updated, accurately prioritized, and aligned with evolving customer and operational needs.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope, key milestones, and timelines to create and maintain a detailed, realistic project schedule.
• Communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders through frequent verbal updates, formal presentations, and participation in cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear alignment, timely information sharing, and strong professional relationships.
• Maintain and update project tracking tools with accurate schedule dates, contact details, and relevant project information.
• Escalate risks or issues promptly, when milestone dates or deliverables are at risk.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and support consistent performance across all assigned responsibilities.
• Perform risk mitigation by site parameters, resource availability, and customer milestones to minimize impacts to field operations.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders gather essential scheduling inputs -including milestone targets, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Identify and document potential scheduling risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies to maintain project progress and on-time delivery.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
