Job summary

Under Armour is seeking a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen enterprise data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization. This role defines frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and operating processes that enable trusted data, responsible AI use, clear decision rights, and measurable adoption.

As part of the Data Governance team, this role partners with business, technology, legal, privacy, security, compliance, and risk teams to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and significant experience in data governance, AI governance, risk management or related areas.
• Experience with ERP/master data platforms and SAP preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance initiatives and delivering system/process/Reporting changes.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data and AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and adoption of standards.
• Manage governance roadmap, priorities, milestones, risks, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes and adoption activities for sustainable operations.
• Partner with teams to embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and AI effectiveness.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation efforts.
• Act as SME for governance concepts, metadata, stewardship, and AI oversight.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and product/tech teams to improve data sharing and integrity.
