Job summary

Smartcat is hiring an AI Strategist to design and build custom AI workflows and agents for strategic, enterprise customers. You will partner with a pod of account executives, technical managers, and engineers to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable AI solutions that drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

You will work in a global, remote-friendly environment, traveling for customer engagements as needed and influencing product direction with customer insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing AI or solutions role in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to build AI-powered workflows, agents, or automations solving real business problems.
• Hands-on with AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Cline).
• Strong Python skills and data analysis (SQL a plus).
• Familiarity with vector databases, MCP, and RAG; agent design.
• Comfort with CLI, Linux basics, and cloud infra (AWS/GCP).
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Strong stakeholder communication, including senior leaders.
• Customer-centric mindset linking tech to business value.
• Experience delivering in complex enterprises within fast-moving startups.
• Builder mentality with bias for action and ambiguity tolerance.
• Change management and customer enablement experience.
• Nice-to-have: leading cross-functional initiatives; travel flexibility.
