Job summary

Nearform offers a permanent, fully remote opportunity for a Solutions Director based in the USA. You will partner with Sales, Delivery and Marketing to craft AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients, oversee pre‑sales engagements, and shape the AI practice.

You will lead discovery, propose tailored architectures, and drive strategic partnerships with executive stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership, preferably in consulting or pre-sales within technology or digital services.
• Hands‑on experience with solution architecture, software architecture, cloud platforms, and AI native software engineering practices.
• Ability to run workshops, explore use cases, and align stakeholders on optimal solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI, data pipelines, and cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Proven track record engaging at VP/C-level in enterprise clients and leading pre‑sales and solution design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnering with Sales, Marketing and Delivery to grow client partnerships through AI innovation.
• Act as SME on AI, software, cloud and data technologies to define tailored solutions with measurable business impact.
• Lead discovery, pre-sales engagements, and craft proposals, RFP responses and pitches.
• Develop proofs‑of‑concept and reference architectures to demonstrate Nearform results.
• Translate client objectives into actionable solution roadmaps with internal experts.
• Support early‑stage delivery to ensure seamless pre‑sales to execution transition.
• Collaborate to create case studies and success stories showcasing AI solution value.
• Help shape and grow the AI practice by driving innovation and best practices across teams.
