Job summary

Nearform is seeking a Solutions Director for a permanent, fully remote role open to candidates based in the USA, preferably in the Eastern Time zone. The position focuses on crafting AI-enabled solutions, leading pre-sales efforts, and aligning with enterprise clients to deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in software engineering leadership, strong architecture and cloud experience, and a proven record with executive relationships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
• Hands-on solution architecture, software architecture, cloud platforms and AI-native practices.
• Ability to conduct workshops, identify use cases, explain trade-offs and align stakeholders.
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript.
• Proven track record engaging executives (VP/C-level) within enterprise clients.
• Experience leading pre-sales, discovery and solution design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Delivery to develop client partnerships through AI innovation.
• Lead discovery and pre-sales engagements, craft proposals, RFP responses and pitches.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and reference architectures.
• Translate client objectives into actionable solution roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• Support early-stage project delivery to ensure smooth handoff to delivery.
• Create case studies and success stories to showcase AI solutions.
