Job summary

Makai Labs, LLC. is looking for a Client-facing Project Manager to own the delivery of enterprise AI automation projects from planning through rollout. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, product, and client services to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in client-facing software or technology projects.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Experience with SaaS, AI, or ML projects or technical implementations.
• Professional services or consulting delivery experience, including managing SOWs and change orders.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
• Experience using AI tools in project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of several client and platform projects.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones against the SOW.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure project success.
• Maintain a risk and issue log and flag blockers with path forward.
• Run client meetings and internal check-ins with clear owners and due dates.
• Coordinate project rollout and user adoption, including handoff to production support.
• Track budget and burn against the SOW and manage scope changes.
• Identify process improvements and leverage AI tools to automate tasks where possible.
