Job summary

Delinea is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a remote sprint team overseas and bridge the gap between business and engineers, guiding technical requirements and architecture for cloud-hosted and on-premises applications.

This working manager role combines people, project, and software development responsibilities, reporting to a Sr Director of Engineering, and offers a remote-friendly setup with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

8 years+ experience running an Agile Sprint team or very strong technical and personal skills.
5 years+ experience managing a team in a substantially different time zone.
Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and web application technologies. Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience required.
2 years+ experience in Angular and Typescript.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
Experience working with large volumes of data.
Experience leveraging REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles, the .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core.
Experience with developing and hosting SaaS and/or cloud-based applications.
Experience working with all modern browsers including Edge, Chrome, Safari, FireFox.
Experience with large codebases and unit testing -- mock frameworks, automation testing.

Responsibilities

Manage a Delinea Sprint team located overseas – both the people and the projects that they work on.
Create clear technical requirements, bridging the gap between the business and the engineers.
Contribute technically to the Sprint team’s projects as a Senior engineer through architecture, code, and code review.
Work specifically on products related to cloud-hosted and on-premises applications.
Contribute to the development, design and architecture of Front-End applications.
This is a working manager position that includes people management, project management, and software development skills.
