Job summary

SearchApi, LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to own end-to-end delivery on a fully remote team. You will run cadences, track all active projects, surface risk early, and act as the first escalation point when issues arise. The role demands strong writing, clear decisions, and a bias for operational excellence.

You will lead delivery metrics, grow the team, and work closely with the founder to scale a bootstrapped, profitable product company. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• A written example of how you ran a delivery process or unblocked a team: a real retro, an incident RCA, or a process you designed and rolled out.
• You've managed a small, high-output engineering team.
• Incident command experience.
• A track record of hiring at a high bar.

Responsibilities

• Run the cadences for delivery, standups, and retros; keep meetings lean and valuable.
• Track the state of every active project and surface risk before it becomes a fire.
• Own delivery metrics: cycle time, review latency, reliability; use them to inform decisions.
• Command incidents: be first escalation, coordinate response, and drive blameless postmortems that change practices.
• Grow the team: conduct 1:1s, coaching, and build a high-bar hiring pipeline.
