FYUL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a product-focused engineering team across squads, partnering with Product Managers and Design to shape goals and technical specs.

You will own delivery from planning through post-launch learning, drive long-term technical direction, and mentor engineers while balancing speed, value, and sustainability in a fast-moving environment.

• Experience leading engineering teams in a product company.
• Proven ability to deliver complex products or systems in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong product mindset with experience contributing to discovery.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to engage in architecture decisions.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make trade-offs, and own outcomes.
• Strong people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and collaborate with PMs and Eng Managers across squads to define goals and technical specs.
• Lead and develop engineers through clear expectations and continuous feedback.
• Co-own product outcomes with Product and Design, participating in discovery and prioritization.
• Challenge assumptions, propose solutions, and make trade-offs between value, speed, and sustainability.
• Own engineering execution from planning through delivery, operation, and post-launch learning.
• Drive predictable delivery via prioritization, dependency management, and risk transparency.
• Shape technical direction and contribute to engineering improvements.
