FYUL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a product-focused engineering team across squads, partnering with Product Managers and Design to shape goals and technical specs.

You will own delivery from planning through post-launch learning, drive long-term technical direction, and mentor engineers while balancing speed, value, and sustainability in a fast-moving environment.

You will oversee team members and collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering Managers across different squads to define project goals, requirements, and technical specifications. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in shaping our engineering projects and helping us achieve our overall objectives.

• Lead and develop engineers through clear expectations and continuous feedback.
• Co-own product outcomes with Product and Design, actively participating in discovery, opportunity shaping, and prioritization.
• Challenge assumptions, propose solutions, and make informed trade-offs between business value, speed, and technical sustainability.
• Own engineering execution from planning through delivery, operation, and post-launch learning.
• Drive predictable delivery through effective prioritization, dependency management, and transparency around risks.
• Shape technical direction, maintain engineering standards, and contribute to broader engineering improvements.

Our tech stack: Languages: PHP (Symfony), Node.js (TypeScript), Angular (TypeScript). Data: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, scalable data processing, distributed architectures Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, containerized environments, cloud-native services, and modern observability tooling. Engineering: Automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), CI/CD, code reviews, continuous delivery, and A/B testing. AI-assisted development: Practical experience using LLMs and coding assistants to improve software development workflows, including implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality
