Job summary

AssureSoft is seeking an experienced leader to drive global software delivery from a remote setting. The candidate will mentor multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with Product, Design, QA, and other groups to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

We expect 7+ years in software development, deep Agile expertise (Scrum/Kanban), and strong communication skills to manage risks and stakeholders across distributed environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development environments.
• Experience leading software teams or complex software projects.
• Proven experience managing software project delivery and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and experience with Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing project artifacts.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design, development, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and commitments.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced, distributed environments.
• Experience working with remote software development teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor remote, multidisciplinary software development teams.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
• Coordinate with Product, Design, QA, and other teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery commitments.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain visibility of project progress.
• Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
• Create and maintain clear project and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, priorities, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop mitigation strategies and adjust project plans to protect timelines and quality.
• Improve engineering processes, workflows, and development practices.
• Evaluate and incorporate relevant technologies and tools into the development process.
• Participate in engineering recruitment and talent selection.
• Manage sprint planning, issue tracking, and project reporting tools.
