Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and related digital products. The role reports to the VP of Technology and leads onshore and offshore engineers.

The leader will remain hands-on in solution architecture for complex distributed systems and champion AI-assisted engineering to enhance software delivery. This role partners with stakeholders from requirements through deployment and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in IT design, development, and support with end-to-end enterprise application delivery.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership including distributed onshore/offshore models with hiring/mentorship.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET).
• Extensive experience with cloud-native architecture and Azure delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices (LLMs, code generation, automation).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands-on solution architecture for complex distributed systems and participate in design/code reviews.
• Drive engineering practices: code quality, reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, release management.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding LLMs and automation into workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and operational support.
