Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and related digital products. The role reports to the VP of Technology and leads onshore and offshore engineers, remaining hands-on in solution architecture for distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands-on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems with peer reviews.
• Drive engineering practices including code quality, design reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding AI tooling and automation into workflows.
• Partner with business stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and operational support.
• Guide technology planning and investment decisions aligned to roadmaps.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and multiple management levels.
• Ensure security and data integrity for PCI and HIPAA objectives.
• Maintain environments handling protected health data in line with security protocols.
• Migrate changes to production using established change management processes.
• Complete documentation on time, protect privacy, and support quality improvement and workload priorities.
