Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and digital products. The leader will manage onshore and offshore engineers, stay hands‑on in architecture, and champion AI‑assisted engineering for improved software delivery.

The role reports to the VP of Technology and requires extensive experience with .NET, Azure, and AI tooling, plus a focus on secure, compliant, and reliable solutions for vulnerable seniors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT design, development, and support with end‑to‑end enterprise delivery.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership including distributed onshore/offshore models.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET) with expert‑level skills across multiple software disciplines.
• Extensive experience with cloud‑native architecture and Azure delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted engineering tools and practices, including LLM‑based tooling, code generation, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands‑on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems and participate in design and code reviews.
• Drive engineering practices including code quality, design reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Champion AI‑assisted engineering by embedding AI tooling into design, build, test, and release workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and operational support to deliver product outcomes.
