Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and digital products. You will lead onshore and offshore engineers, remaining hands‑on in solution architecture for complex distributed systems and champion AI‑assisted engineering to accelerate software delivery.

The role reports to the VP of Technology and focuses on secure, compliant, and reliable solutions to support interdisciplinary care for vulnerable seniors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT design, development, and end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise apps.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Expert in .NET and Azure with hands‑on architecture skills.
• Experience with AI‑assisted engineering tools and workflow automation.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into secure, compliant platforms.
• Healthcare domain experience and excellent stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands‑on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems.
• Drive engineering practices: code quality, reviews, testing discipline, CI/CD, release management.
• Champion AI‑assisted engineering by embedding AI tooling into workflows.
• Partner with business stakeholders from requirements through deployment and support.
• Guide technology planning and investment decisions aligned to roadmaps.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple management levels.
• Ensure PCI/HIPAA security and data integrity across environments.
• Maintain production/test environments handling protected health data per policies.
• Complete mandated training and adapt to evolving business needs.
