Job summary

Brass Tacks Insights is seeking an Engagement Manager to own day-to-day client relationships and delivery across several engagements, reporting to the Founder and CEO. You will turn complex scientific, clinical, and market data into actionable intelligence for client partners and mentor team members.

The role is fully remote and aligned with US Eastern hours, starting around 6:30 am Pacific. Success includes running engagements end to end and escalating issues before they become escalations.

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences with emphasis on biotech or pharma.
• 4–8 years in life sciences consulting or market planning.
• Ability to interpret preclinical and clinical data and identify implications.
• Excellent written and oral communication to physicians, scientists, and executives.
• Experience challenging senior decision makers with evidence.
• Strong project management with deadlines.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Self-directed learner with growth mindset.
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to work US Eastern hours.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and engagement delivery end to end.
• Translate complex science into clear, client-ready reports and present findings to clients.
• Develop insights by evaluating disease states, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics.
• Lead engagements with milestones, owners, and quality checks.
• Mentor and develop team members and grow accounts.
