Job summary

Red Nucleus seeks a Client Engagement Manager to oversee day-to-day client relationships and drive successful medical communications programs in a fast-paced agency setting. You will translate client objectives into actionable direction for internal teams, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery with high quality and regulatory compliance.

This remote role supports US/Canada clients, with hybrid options if commutable to offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in communications, marketing, life sciences, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in medical communications, medical education, pharma marketing, or related fields.
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
• Financial acumen including forecasting, SOW development, and profitability management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for assigned accounts and projects, delivering high levels of service.
• Lead execution of medical communications programs from initiation through completion, within scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.
• Lead regular client status meetings, prepare agendas, updates, and meeting recaps with timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with Creative, Editorial, Digital, Project to manage day-to-day execution.
• Review deliverables for alignment to objectives, client feedback, and regulatory guidance.
• Manage project and account financials, including budget tracking, invoicing, and scope changes.
• Develop and manage change orders and support proposal and SOW development.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance requirements, and industry regulations (PhRMA, Open Payments).
• Supervise MLR review processes and document submission systems (e.g., Veeva).
• Participate in onsite client meetings, advisory boards, congress activities, and speaker programs.
• Coach and support junior team members, providing guidance and workload prioritization.
• Contribute to organic growth through identifying new opportunities and supporting business development.
