Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking an Engagement Manager to drive growth for Fresh Connect Central (FCC) by managing accounts, developing strategic plans, and expanding partnerships within the food banking network and beyond.

The role emphasizes strong relationship-building, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored FCC solutions. Remote work is available in designated states, with travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of food distribution required
• Advanced knowledge of food banking industry desired
• Prior sales & account management experience desired
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred with the ability to create, analyze, and present reports.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations desired

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to meet sales, growth, and retention goals.
• Engage customers to understand needs, identify opportunities, and connect them with FCC products and services.
• Respond to inquiries and provide ongoing account support to strengthen satisfaction and relationships.
• Research and pursue new business opportunities within the food banking network and with suitable customers.
• Collaborate with the Quote Specialist to develop quotes and proposals that align with pricing and terms.
• Present proposals, negotiate within guidelines, and secure commitments.
