Job summary

Gunderson Dettmer is seeking a Business Acceptance Analyst to support the New Business Acceptance and New Business Intake teams. You will draft engagement letters and conflicts waivers, and consult with partners under the guidance of the Conflicts Attorney and the Office of General Counsel.

The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and analytical skills to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position is remote with Pacific Time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years’ legal experience, preferably in new business intake and/or conflicts in a mid to large-sized law firm.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review firm engagement letters, conflict waiver letters, outside counsel guidelines.
• Prioritize and manage a high volume of emails and other communications related to conflicts and new client engagements.
• Manage and respond to partner requests for changes in client engagement letters.
• Assist in training other firm members in drafting engagement letters and conflicts waivers, as required.
• Assist with a wide range of research and other requests as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
