Job Responsibilities
- Draft and review firm engagement letters, conflict waiver letters, and outside counsel guidelines.
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of emails and other communications related to conflicts and new client engagements.
- Manage and respond to partner requests for changes in client engagement letters.
- Assist in training other firm members in drafting engagement letters and conflicts waivers, as required.
- Assist with a wide range of research and other requests as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years’ legal experience, preferably in new business intake and/or conflicts in a mid‑to‑large‑sized law firm.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of legal processes, business entities, and transactional concepts, including financing, emerging companies, and M&A, as they relate to conflicts of interest.
- Familiarity with legal ethics, risk management, and the Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Experience with Intapp, Contract Express, iManage, and Aderant.
- Experience in a transactional law firm environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed; West Coast work hours are required.
Employment Status and Schedule
Full‑time, Non‑Exempt, Remote – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time
Compensation and Benefits
- Annualized base salary range: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 (US only).
