Job summary

Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP is seeking a legal engagements specialist to support conflict and new client intake operations. You will draft and review engagement letters and waivers, manage high volumes of correspondence, and respond to partner requests.

Remote, full-time position with West Coast hours. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in conflicts or new business intake in a law firm; experience with Intapp, iManage, and other legal systems is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years’ legal experience, preferably in new business intake and/or conflicts in a mid‑to‑large‑sized law firm.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review engagement letters, conflict waiver letters, and outside counsel guidelines.
• Prioritize and manage a high volume of emails and other communications related to conflicts and new client engagements.
• Manage and respond to partner requests for changes in client engagement letters.
• Assist in training other firm members in drafting engagement letters and conflicts waivers, as required.
• Assist with a wide range of research and other requests as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
