Job summary

Gunderson Dettmer seeks a Business Acceptance Analyst to support the New Business Acceptance and New Business Intake teams. You will draft engagement letters and conflict waivers, and manage extensive communications to support new client engagements while coordinating with partners and attorneys.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of two years’ legal experience, preferably in new business intake and/or conflicts in a mid to large-sized law firm.
Familiarity with legal processes, risk management, and ethics concepts may be beneficial.
Experience with the listed practice management tools (Intapp, Contract Express, iManage, Aderant).

Responsibilities

Draft and review firm engagement letters and conflict waivers.
Prioritize and manage a high volume of emails and communications related to conflicts and new client engagements.
Assist in training other firm members in drafting engagement letters and conflicts waivers.
Support research and a wide range of requests as needed.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
