Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage and substation projects with oversight across engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations. The role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in‑office presence in San Diego, CA.

Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities include reviewing budgets, schedules and profit margins, negotiating change orders, mentoring project

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading remote project teams and coordinating with Owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with project controls and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on critical aspects of the work involving significant cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Provide leadership and oversight of complex change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and/or regulating entities.
• Provide support to other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams.
