Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single project from a remote position. You will coordinate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and contract teams to ensure successful LNTP development and procurement alignment.

The role demands 5+ years in energy storage construction, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and Bluebeam. Expect about 25% travel and a related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in energy storage construction or related field.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years) as Project Engineer or similar role.
• Leadership ability to manage a remote team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and industry tools like Bluebeam Revu.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Must have strong people skills and detail orientation.
• Able to travel ~25%.
• 5+ years construction experience and 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities for a project.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Coordinate design constraints and lead times for long lead procurement.
• Define and create LNTPs.
• Track design requirements and permitting.
• Liaise with Engineering Manager on schedule/budget impacts.
