Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager for a fully remote role. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and legal to plan, organize and direct project work from LNTP through to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in energy storage construction, strong knowledge of plans/specs, and proven leadership in remote environments. Travel ~25% and collaboration with stakeholders are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
Leadership and communication skills; organized and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction project management tasks.
Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
Prepare billings and expedite payments.
Set up and maintain CMiC system.
Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
Write project procedures.
Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and staff.
Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
Collaborate across engineering, procurement, legal and other teams to define contracts.
Track design changes affecting schedule or budget and report to leaders.
Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration.
Maintain cost forecasting and cost to complete reporting.
