Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an experienced Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to provide leadership for a nationwide, fully remote project. You will coordinate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and legal teams to plan, organize and direct work across the LNTP phase.

Responsibilities include cost control, bid preparation, CMiC setup, and vendor coordination, with travel ~25% as needed. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in energy storage construction and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience in construction management or project engineering preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Preconstruction Project Manager duties.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Coordinate procurement with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate across departments to define contract scopes of work.
• Track changes to project schedule/budget and report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Provide timely, accurate cost forecasting and cost at completion.
