Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single project with cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and procurement. This fully remote role reports to the Project Executive and requires coordinating LNTP scope and contractor activities.

You will manage cost control, bid packages, risk, and reporting, while guiding a dispersed team in a fast‑paced environment. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
• Leadership ability to pull together remote teams into a high‑performing project team
• Effective written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite and Bluebeam Revu
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Organizational and communication skills; strong people skills
• Willingness to travel (approximately 25%)
• 5+ years construction experience
• 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience

Responsibilities

• Perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Prepare billings and expedite payments
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids
• Write project procedures
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement on design constraints and lead-times
• Define and create LNTPs
• Research design requirements
• Track changes affecting schedule/budget and report to Project Executive
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC
• Manage project risk and mitigation plans
• Build relationships with Owner, Engineers, Vendors, Subcontractors; safeguard rights under EPC
