Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a full project lifecycle in a fully remote role. You will work with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to define LNTP scopes and manage cost and schedule across the team.

You will supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers, maintain cost forecasts, and communicate risks with mitigation plans. Travel about 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience in project roles (5–8 years).
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a preconstruction project from start to finish.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain all CMiC system aspects.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Coordinate procurement activities within LNTP scope, budget and schedule.
