Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager. This fully remote role oversees a project from planning through LNTP, coordinating with engineering, scheduling, budgeting and procurement. Local travel up to 25% may be required and you will manage cost reports and CMiC entries.

You will lead a dispersed team, write procedures, solicit bids, and liaise with Owners and Vendors to ensure timely delivery of long-lead items and contract scopes across LNTP phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5–8 years) as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to an individual project.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for accuracy.
• Supervise and train project engineers and clerical staff.
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Track changes affecting schedule and budget with Engineering Manager.
