Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager for a fully remote role. You will lead and coordinate across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout, ensuring successful project delivery from LNTP through completion.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in energy storage construction, a relevant engineering/architecture degree, and strong leadership skills to unify a remote team. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability – able to pull together team members from diverse backgrounds in a remote environment and organize them into a cohesive, high-performing project team.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite, as well as other industry-standard tools, such as Bluebeam Revu.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Able to travel (estimated 25%).

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Write project procedures.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Collaborate with departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Understand design constraints and lead-times for long lead items during LNTP phase.
• Research and understand project design requirements and permits.
• Track changes impacting schedule/budget and report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration.
• Maintain reporting on cost forecasting and estimated cost at completion.
• Manage project risk and mitigation plans with team.
• Develop strong Owner/Vendor/Subcontractor relationships and preserve rights under EPC.
