Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to provide leadership across projects, coordinating with engineering, scheduling, budgeting and procurement.

This fully remote role will oversee cost control, bid management, and LNTP creation while guiding engineers and staff in a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment. The position requires 3+ years in energy storage construction, a relevant engineering/architecture/construction degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability—able to pull together remote teams into a cohesive unit.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and other departments to define scopes and manage LNTP phases.
• Track design changes and impact on schedule/budget; communicate to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings and support estimating reconciliation.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and cost at completion; manage project risk.
