Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a nationwide, fully remote project. You will coordinate engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement, ensuring LNTP scope and schedules are met while managing risk and reporting cost forecasts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of energy storage construction experience, strong plans knowledge, and a track record of leading diverse teams remotely. Strong communication and software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to manage a remote, diverse team.
• Effective written and verbal communications and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to a single Energy Storage Preconstruction Project.
• Maintain cost control ledger and project cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness/accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget and schedules.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction and legal on contract scopes.
