Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager for a fully remote role in the United States.

You will lead a project across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout documentation, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure successful LNTPs and procurement aligned with budgets and timelines. The role requires 3+ years in energy storage construction, strong plans knowledge, and remote team leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
• Leadership ability in remote environment
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Able to travel (estimated 25%)
• 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Prepare billings and expedite payments
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids
• Write project procedures
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and staff
• Ensure procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules
• Collaborate with departments to create contract scopes of work
• Understand design constraints and lead times for long-lead items
• Define and create LNTPs
• Research and understand project design requirements
• Track changes impacting schedule/budget and report to Project Executive
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration
• Maintain timely reporting including cost forecasting and EAC
• Manage project risk and mitigation planning
• Build relationships with Owner/Engineers/Vendors/Subcontractors
