Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager for a fully remote position. You will lead planning, budgeting, scheduling and coordination across engineering, procurement and legal teams to deliver projects from LNTP through closeout.

The role requires strong leadership and experience in energy storage construction and contract management. You will collaborate with multiple departments to develop contract scopes, manage long lead items, and provide accurate cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
• Leadership ability in remote environments and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite and Bluebeam Revu
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Ability to travel (estimated 25%)

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Write project procedures
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal departments to create contract scopes of work
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to manage long lead procurement items during LNTP phase
• Research and ensure compliance with design, owner/contract, and permit requirements
• Track schedule and budget changes with Engineering Manager and report to Project Executive
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and cost at completion
• Develop mitigation plans for project risks with the team
• Build strong relationships with Owners, Engineers, Vendors and Subcontractors; protect rights under EPC
