Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead multi-department planning, scheduling, budgeting and closeout across our storage and substation projects. This fully remote role requires strong leadership in a distributed team and proactive risk management.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, estimating and legal to prepare contracts, oversee cost control, and ensure on-time delivery while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability to pull together diverse team in a remote environment.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong MS Office and Bluebeam Revu skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Write project procedures.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal to create contract scopes of work.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement on lead-times for long-lead items during LNTP phase.
• Research and understand project-specific design requirements and permits.
• Liaise with Engineering Manager to track changes impacting schedule/budget.
