Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead and oversee a nationwide project portfolio from a fully remote setting. You will coordinate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to ensure on-time delivery and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include cost control, procedures creation, mentorship of engineers, and active liaison with owners and internal teams to align design and contract scopes. Travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability to pull together a remote team and organize them into a high-performing unit.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and change management.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu; familiarity with contract law and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Write project procedures.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to manage design constraints and lead-times for long lead items.
• Research and understand project design requirements and permits.
• Track schedule and budget impacts with the Engineering Manager and report changes to leadership.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration.
• Maintain timely reporting to the Project Team and management (cost forecasting, EAC).
• Develop mitigation plans for project risks and maintain owner/vendor relationships.
