Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a remote Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single project from planning through closeout. You will coordinate engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement, working with multiple departments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining cost controls, preparing bid packages, and ensuring procurement aligns with scope. Travel up to 25% may be required; strong communication and contract knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of energy storage construction experience or equivalent.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget and schedules.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal to create contracts.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement on design constraints and lead times.
• Define and create LNTPs.
• Research project design requirements (internal/owner/permit).
• Track changes affecting schedule/budget and report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Maintain timely reporting for cost forecasting and EAC.
