Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single project with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and closeout documentation.

The role is fully remote and requires coordination with multiple departments to plan and direct project work. Responsibilities include cost control, writing procedures, supervising engineers, liaising with owners, and reporting on cost forecasts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Field experience (5-8 years) as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Leadership to coordinate a remote, diverse team into a cohesive, high-performing unit.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam Revu or similar tools.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Write project procedures.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal departments to define contract scopes of work.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to manage design constraints and lead times for long-lead items in LNTP phase.
• Research and understand project design and permit requirements.
• Track schedule and budget changes with Engineering Manager and report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and cost at completion.
• Develop mitigation plans for identified project risks with the team.
