Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single project from planning through closeout in a fully remote setting.

You will collaborate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting and procurement teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role emphasizes cost control, bid package preparation, LNTP creation, and close coordination with Owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• :Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Describes ability to manage preconstruction activities across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages; solicit and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures; review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget and schedules.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting and legal on scopes of work.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement on design constraints and lead-times for long-lead items.
• Define and create LNTPs; research design requirements.
• Liaise with Engineering Manager; report changes to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
• Manage project risk with mitigation plans; assess probability/severity.
• Build strong partnerships with Owner, Engineers, Vendors and Subcontractors.
