Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to run a remote, diverse team.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Preconstruction Project Manager duties.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction and legal to create contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering/procurement on design constraints and lead times for long-lead items.
• Define and create LNTPs.
• Research project-specific design requirements.
• Liaise with Engineering Manager on changes impacting schedule/budget.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
• Manage project risk and mitigation plans.
• Build strong owner/vender/subcontractor relationships.
